DogStar Flyball Teams

The DogStar Flyball Team was founded in January 2012 and trains at Asselby, East Yorkshire. Training is at 6.30pm Thursday evenings in summer, switching to Sunday mornings at 10:30 in Autumn/Winter.

We welcome dogs of all breeds and abilities - new members are always welcome. As long as your dog likes balls there's a good chance they can be trained to do flyball. All training is reward based and should be fun for both you and your dog. The team currently has dogs ranging in breed and size from Greyhounds and Whippets to Patterdales and Cross Breeds.

We compete regularly in BFA sanctioned tournaments throughout the year, and we also host our own show at Driffield Showground over the Easter holidays as well as co-hosting tournaments with other teams.

DogStar Devils were divisional champions at the British Flyball Championships in 2014.

If you are interested in trying out Flyball, use the Contact Us page and we'll get back to you as soon as we can. Alternatively come along to one of the shows we attend and have a chat, you'll generally find a Dogstar wandering around in our team jackets.

Dogstar is home to the top 3 Flyball Whippets in the UK including Arthur, the UK's #1 Flyball Whippet and Merlin the UK's only competing Greyhound.
